  • About Me

I'm Kevin Twohy, and I'm an Interaction Designer living in San Francisco. These are the pictures I take. This is my email. Here's my Facebook. And for better or worse, I occasionally use Twitter.

From time to time I share tiny glimpses of what I'm working on here.

    More about me.

  • They still think of privacy as ‘the one secret I don’t want revealed’ - but that’s not the problem. The problem is all the stuff that’s the cruft - the data dandruff of life. That they don’t think of as secret in any way, but which aggregates to stuff they don’t want anybody to know. Which aggregates, in fact, not just to stuff they don’t want people to know; but to predictive models about them that they would be very creeped out to think could exist at all.

Eben Moglen in this really great talk called Freedom in the Cloud, recommended to me by the gentlemen at Diaspora, for whom this talk was a kind of ‘seed’ that inspired them to build something (see what I did there).

Note: if you are not a geek/hacker/nerd, you will not find this interesting :)
