William Wordsworth obviously does not like people. In Book 7 he clearly points this out. But it is important to realize that he’s not merely saying people should not exist or that they are completely pointless. Rather, Bill is commenting on how people in large groups can accomplish nothing and that what they do is only for their own personal desires.
