As mentioned previously, my friend Tom is busy teaching English to 3rd and 4th graders in Korea. Hilarity ensues.
Next, I had them play some good old street dice for where they would sit and organized them into groups. These groups, I told them, were their new families, everything we were going to do in the next two weeks was based on group competition. They gave themselves team names and even made up team chants, none of which made sense, but they seemed to enjoy it. One smart-ass team decided to name themselves “Secret”, so when I went around asking them what their names were they just looked at me and said “Secret”. No no you can tell me, it’ll be our secret, I won’t tell anyone, what’s your name? “Secret” Do you have a name? Like is there a name in your head that you won’t tell me? “Secret” Is your name A secret? Or is you NAME Secret. “Secret.” Shit went on for a good 15min.
