This guy - dressed to the nines, an investment banker of some kind - was taping up a paper cutout colored in as a girl doll and takign pictures of it at various places in NYC for his neices project, then he mails it (and the pictures) on to the next person on the list. Kinda like Amelie.
It was awesome to see someone in such serious trappings doing someone so.. not serious, and for his neice.
My little sister did this years ago in kindergarden she sent “flat Stanley” to my grandparents in Nova Scotia. They took tons of pictures of Stanley all over the place as he “visited” my grandparents and checked out the sights… It was cute for sure… Though my grandparents probably looked crazy to the people who saw them.
