  • About Me

I'm Kevin Twohy. These are the pictures I take. This is my email. Here's my Facebook. And for better or worse, I occasionally use Twitter.

From time to time I share tiny glimpses of what I'm working on here.

    More about me.

I signed up for Photojojo’s PhotoTimeCapsule (see my little Flickr icon). When you sign up, you’ll get an email twice a month with your Flickr photos from a year ago.
At first I was a little uncomfortable about the idea of seeing old photos in my inbox. Now that I’ve seen my first sample email (a few photos right after I moved into my first solo apartment) I realized it’s kinda rad to get a reminder of what I was seeing and doing a year ago. It makes me realize how much and how little time has gone by. It’s less nostalgic than I though it would be.

Time Capsule makes me really happy and really sad at the same time.
Really happy because I think it’s one of the neatest things we’ve made. And everyone who’s ever signed up seems to love it.
Really sad because it’s not grown as fast as the other things we’ve done. It’s not inherently viral (it’s private) and it’s not very often (only twice a month.)
If someone comes up with an idea for spreading Time Capsule to more people, I will give them the biggest hug.

how ‘bout a ‘Hey, Remember This?’ button — remind your friends who shared this memory with you.  (separately, this blog post wasn’t too bad of an idea itself… ;)  )
