  • About Me

I'm Kevin Twohy. These are the pictures I take. This is my email. Here's my Facebook. And for better or worse, I occasionally use Twitter.

From time to time I share tiny glimpses of what I'm working on here.

    More about me.

Seeing everyone in their different corners of the web chat about the debate tonight got me thinking about distributed conversations.  There have been several attempts made to aggregate conversations across multiple platforms over time, but I think this misses the mark entirely.  I’m not interested in what every person on every platform said — most of it’s just noise.

But every once in a while, someone says something really good.  In the best cases, the community surfaces this content (Diggers digg up, Tumblrs reblog, etc.) — but what if someone built a space where people could see the ‘best’ of all the dialog that’s happening across the web?  Trying to merge all the conversations together gets it terribly wrong — individual communities exist on the web for good reason.  But building a space that privileges the best of what’s around could be really interesting.
